  1. Well, it’s been three weeks now since the conference and the much-touted “Future of LGBT Sports” sesion was held and we’ve heard hardly a peep about it. What’s up?
No-one wants to talk about the dramatic unrolling of the scroll of signatures from Team Berlin? No photo-op for the presses? No capturing of the look of surprise on the face of the panelist from Berlin who was all surprised when the scroll was unveiled?
No reporting how many speakers said they really didn’t care who organized a world event, but “no sports without human rights”? Oops, can’t let that message get out ’cause that’s the “GLISA model”. Oopsie.

  2. Greg… more misinformation. There have always been conferences at Gaygames, just not the main event. There is a reason why the word ‘Games’ is in GayGames.
Change WorldOutGames (WOGs) to what it really wants to be: WorldPrideConferencesPaidForByAthletes. GayGames are run by the athletes for the athletes. GLISA is run by non athletes who are tied to Pride and Tourism boards. Prove me wrong.
Are you questioning the veracity ot Team Berlin/Vorspiel and Team San Francisco in their position statements? Or are you just realizing that as the two largest contingents in any GayGames comprising some 18% of the registrations (about 2k athletes between them!), they basically limit WOGs to a small European event, co-opting a cheaper EuroGames. Hardly international as well as hardly sports given the registrations in Basketball, Wrestling, Martial Arts, Skating, et al.
As for the much touted meeting, the basic problem was access: GLISA demanded athletes who had already registered in Copenhagen had to pay another $280 to attend this one meeting! What a scam to invite athletes to a meeting about the LGBT Sports Future, and then try and rob them before they can speak.
But hey, thanks for posting so we have yet another search engine portal to educate even more on the Internet about the GLISA hoax. The truth will prevail.
